Granzyme-mediated apoptotic signaling pathway
WebRepresenting the perforin/granzyme pathway of apoptosis. Granzyme B synthesize in CTLs and NK cells transport in target cell through the pore made by perforin protein. Inside the target cell GzmB recruit the caspase 3 and 7 and induce the apoptosis. At the same GzmB can also activate the apoptosis through the mitochondrial mediated pathway.
