FSRecorder is a much more 'modern' program and won't 'blink' with a longer flight as sim replay seems to do. FSRecorder will replay a 30 minutes (1800 seconds) flight with absolutely no problems.

If the animations are not working its because the sim has no power to drive them. When in replay fsx basiaclly submits all the commands you would do at the recorded time, so for flaps etc to work you need power.
