Proton is not Linux, it's barely an option to play some older games, or an option for some players unable to not-play some games, even if we already have 5000+ native Linux games in 2024. WebJust dropping into this sub to ask if Dwarf Fortress is worth the $5 asking price. 100%. It's number 1 on my wishlist and I will buy it day one. I don't think I've ever bought a Steam game at full price before. But I'll probably buy Dwarf Fortress on launch day.

WebCheck your priority on the mining tasks. Generally everyone sets it to priority 1 (it's the yellow arrow to the right of the mining clicky's at the bottom of the screen) but when you reload a game it resets to priority 4. and that's a LOW priority in DF.
